You want to replace XP with Win 98? Not sure why you'd want to do that but keep in mind the maximum cpu speed Win 98 will run on without a special patch is 2.2 ghz (due to NDIS). It will run on machines with more than 512 meg but will ignore all memory beyond 512 meg. If your computer meets these specs (and Win 98 has all the drivers for your hardware), then you should be able to replace XP with Win 98.
