Im building a new pc with these components.

pentium g860 3.0 ghz
ASRock H61M-DGS Micro Atx
crucial ballistix 4gb 1600mhz
msi geforce GT 630 2gb
nzxt source 210
CM CX 650w 80+ psu.

Im thinking of using my moms old 500gb HDD which has windows 7 32 bit on it, Would i be able to use that HDD and boot off it? her computer works just fine.

When you set up a Windows install, it configures itself for the machine it is running on. Drivers, settings, registry tweeks, ect. all work to make Windows work as well as it can on the machine it's on. Taking that hard drive and putting it into another machine means you are going to be trying to boot Windows without any of the changes that it needs to work right on the new machine.

Generally, it will either work or it won't. On a single occasion, I have ruined a Windows install doing this, so be careful. Your best bet is to just do a clean install on the new machine.

Most likely not.
Depends on what chipset is on your moms PC.

You might have a chance of getting it to work if you uninstall all software that came with the old PC. Service programs, drivers, tools etc.
