yeah it is mitx so your gold. hyper threading does not help gaming at all, if your mainly gaming by an i5 - 3570k/4570k as they are really better suited for games. the xt 7870's are amazing but the only problem is...

the problem i see with this, and it's possible i could be wrong so check, is that you spec'd an atx board with an m-itx case. this motherboard is too big for that case as you need and matx motherboard. again maybe this case somehow can fit it but i'm doubtful. other than that good build. get a 7950 if you can swing it, the 7xxx cards are dropping in price quick so it's primo time to buy! oh i just checked, if the case is the prodigy than that board will not fit!! if you want to stick with that mobo, luck into the nzxt phantom 420, or corsair 300r, both awesome cases in that price range. good luck!

The Asus Z87i pro is actually a mini-ITX motherboard, so it will fit in the prodigy case

Thanks for the reply, I am very sure that this motherboard is a mini itx compatible because it has the I at the end of z87. Would you recommend me to buy a hyper threaded cpu or is it not beneficial for gaming? I cant go for the 7950 unfortunately, my original choice was the hd7850, however someone persuaded me to try to hd7870 for more performance, so its either one of those cards that are listed Sapphire Radeon HD7870 2GB GDDR5 XT With Boost PCIE 3.0 VGA Card or Sapphire Radeon HD7870 OC 2GB DDR5 PCIE 3.0 VGA Card?

well if it's sixty than yeah go for the xt since they perform fairly close to each other, with that said i've seen 7950 non reference cards go on sale for around 225$ which is a steal, if you can find something like that jump on it!
