I am building my first computer and was hoping someone can give me their opinion on it.

MOBO: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: Asus GeForce GT 610 2GB Video Card

Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

note: What size of case will I need? full, mid, mini ATX? I also held off on the power supply because I know some cases have them, what is your take on that?

thank you in advance and sorry moderators if this is in the wrong spot I'm new here ;)

Agree the cases with Power Supplies included are not very good and do you have an Operating System e.g Windows 7,8

I'm not a hardcore gamer but casually I play demanding games, from what I read I have everything capable of running my games on good settings.
As for my budget I don't have a set one, I don't really want an insane rig but one in the middle somewhere, like everybody I hate slow computers so I'm asking can everything I have support multitasking?

My monitor: http://www.asus.com/us/Monitors_Projectors/VS228HP/

I'll have to get back to you on my resolution, I'm out right now.

Windows 7

That graphics card you have chosen will not really perform all that well, which is why I was asking for your approx budget. There are a lot of ppl on this forum who specialize in suggesting which components you should get to maximize your games within your budget.

Also, I do not recommend that power supply. Again, if we can get a budget, we can suggest a higher quality part for you.

alright so according to pcpartpicker my cost right now is $580, i would like to go not much more than $650.

I also changed my fan to this: "Gelid Solutions CC-Siberian-01 51.9 CFM CPU Cooler" because it is suppose to be quieter and around the same rpm.

turns out I found an old custom case from an older family cpu and it should be sufficient, it also has an optical drive in it already so I took that out.
