Hi guys,

I overclocked my i5 4670K on GA-Z87X-D3H mb @4.6 Ghz with Vcore=1.28 and Ring Voltage 1.15.System seems stable after 4 hours of Aida64 stress test inc. mem testing (I did not OC the memory it works on XMP 1600). System temps are peaking at 75-77.Anyone can share the experience with such OC? How far you can go ahead ?

Cheers

I set it to run Aida64 for whole day today since im at work and when i get back if all is fine i may try rise up to 4.7 and check it.Cause actualy i was at 4.6 Ghz almost stable w/o increasing the Ring Voltage at all...I'll post what happens tomorrow

Thanks it was helpull.Btw for anyone interested after 10 hours of aida64 with all tests on w/o disk and video test system is stable with 1.28 Vcore and 1.15 Ring Voltage. The system is with H100i water cooling in Corsair 600T case. The rpm of the fans is 1150 , the pump is at 2200.Tried to do 4.7 with same settings but intel burn test failed and PC restardted.Seems for 4.7 my chip needs more voltage.

Wow exact same settings for me too, i cant get 4.6 stable on less than 1.28. I usually run 4.4ghz at 1.2v, right now im at 4.2ghz at 1.13v which with the auto offsets goes up to 1.15v roughly(but only in stress testing, so it hangs at 1.13v all other times, 1.10v was almost stable there.) I get 76c as my max at 4.6ghz @ 1.28v with an H80i???
