Hi, I have a monitor which I have repaired (some capacitors due to being bulged and prevented power to the monitor).
I first turned it back on after fix and it worked great and stayed displaying for an hr or so then now it turns black (backlights turn off) after a second once the monitor is turned on (standby or power)
I have tried changing the VGA lead and also plugged into another pc.
I have two other monitors which both work as a dual screen set up but not with this monitor.
I started to look at the board again to see if I've missed a damaged capacitor but not sure if that's the issue.
I don't think its the graphics card either as I'm using two monitors anyways which work fine.
It looks like the signal turns the screen to display (what ever it should be) but then switches off again (not the power being switched off, just display)
This happens on boot up as well.
I can video what I mean and upload it if I'm not being understood

Steve
