Good day guys,

Just would like to ask if what air cooler would fit to a corsair vengeance high profile? My CPU btw is a FX-8320. I'm irritated by the noise created by the stock cooler when doing some work or at heavy loads. Also, using a gigabyte 990fxa-ud3.

What air cooler could you suggest?
- I plan to overclock but only up to 4.0 stable or 4.2 stable if possible if my operation really needs it

The best orientation, and possibly the only one is to exhaust the heat to the rear of the case.

I would not use the NH-C12 SE14.
It is a downdraft cooler which is not as effective, and may have tall ram clearance issues.
The noctua NH-U12S has a 120mm fan that will be quieter than the hyper212, but not significantly so. It would mount similarly.

Unfortunately the noctua isn't available here in our area. What could be the position of the fan casing if hyper212 will be used? Ty! Thinking about Noctua NH-C12 SE14 cause someone said its going to fit but better if ask here. Also, thinking about hyper 412 Slim, will it be a good choice?

By moving the fan height, will it not affect the performance or the temperature reading?

Normally, the height adjustment is minor and has little effect on performance. It is a third option in addition to ram location and a pull orientation.

I looked at your link, but it is a for sale by individuals list, and I am not comfortable navigating it.
If you have any doubts, contact the seller and see if there is a return privilege.

Alright thanks mate! Just have a follow-up question if you won't mind. What's the average life span of a rad type cooler? Like CM Seidon 120M? Using 24/7!

Had to lift the fan close to a 1/4 inch for Tridents with fin on and idle/under load stayed right at same, and the Tridents have among the tallest fins (which are removable by the way, but with no temp difference, no need to remove ;)
