Gaming PC for ~1000$

Solution
Looks reasonable.

I would defer on the extra fans. The case comes with plenty, and you can always change them out later if you really need to.

Consider building with a SSD up front. It will make everything you do feel so much quicker.
120gb will hold the os and a handful of games. Defer on the hard drive which is easy to add later. If you get a 240gb ssd up front, you may never need a hard drive at all.
Samsung EVO is my pick for that.

I have now removed the fans and added a 120gb ssd. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dodidor/saved/2pB4
