Does the power saver in power options save "power" necessarily? I notice that it clocks my 3570k at 1.56ghz and rarely does it go above that. The reason I'm asking this is cause I have almost basically stopped playing games and only use my computer for school work and was wondering if this was a viable option to conserve some energy as I don't really need a power machine anymore. Thanks!
