I am having problems when playing video games, Diablo 3 specifically. It seems as if every time I die or enter a new area, the system changes the graphics card on me. I am using an acer with an i5, intel hd4000, and gt 630m. Now the game runs great when the 630 is doing the work but for some reason, recently it has been changing back to the 4000 in the middle of a game. I have tried disabling the hd4000 in the device manager but then it when i run diablo it seems like its running with no video card as i get .5 fps. I've also done the opposite and disabled the 630m, now when i run the game it will run only with the intel hd4000 at a mediocre fps with everything min. Why can't I just get the game to run from the 630m? Someone help please!

Can't you select the game in nvidia control panel or something to be on the gpu default? You could also turn off the igp in bios but that would result in alot more power usage.

What you need to do is go into the BIOS and disable the onboard video there. There should be an option somewhere, just look around. Also, ensure you have the latest nvidia drivers for your GT630M.
