Currently using the free BT 2wire router at our small business. But it is starting to drive me crazy. They sent me the newer 'better' one which I think is even worse!

So basically looking for advice to upgrade.
Not looking to spend more than £150 max.

I have been told by a frind that Draytek are a good investment.

I have have about 10 devices hard wired in via a Netgear GS116 16-port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch and a few wireless devices (phones, laptops etc)

I want something that will last and make the IT systems here easier as it is all starting to get ontop of me.

Any advice is much appreciated even if it is just a link to a previous post.
Also please tell me if it is worth spending more?

Thank you all in advance

In what way is the 2wire worse? Be warned that if you have an issue with Internet connectivity, BT won't be able to properly support you unless BT approved equipment is in use.

I am aware that BT will only help to fix a problem if you use solely their equipment.

I want a router with better firmware then the free BT one. And one that connects well with the exchange and has some diagnostics available too.

Maybe the info I have is mislead? But wanting to improve my overall experience. We are in the Highlands of Scotland and the connection isn't that great (about 4mbs). We are less than 50m from the exchange and and should receive 8mbs but do not. And we need to achieve as close to 8 as we can
