is there a way i can overclock this CPU so i can maximize its usage and still be stable? and how?

im using a GTX660 OC DC2 GPU
M5A78L-M LX3 MOBO
1 TB HDD

There are a number of different options: You can go into the BIOS and overclock it through there (increasing the multplier and voltage if needed); or use a program which will allow you to overclock from the OS itself.

ones i got the cooling system how would i go about overclocking the actual thing??

how would i know which values to put? i was able to see that through the bios but im kinda scared of changing anything that might hurt my unit.
