I am looking to upgrade from my phenom II 965 to the FX 8350. I am looking for a solid motherboard with good community reviews. I plan to use all my current components.

Windows 7
8GB gskills 1600
evga geforece 560 ti
1TB HDD
250GB SSD
BDD

I want to make sure the Mobo works well with my g.skills RAM and my nvidia GPU running Windows 7. im looking around the $150 price point... but don't mind spending a bit more for stability and features. Also I do not plan to overclock. Thanks in advance to the awesome-sauce Tom hardware community!

Quick NewEgg search yielded several options. These will range in price from $115 - $160

ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 Desktop Motherboard - AMD 990FX Chipset - Socket AM3+

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS (* $160 but currently with a $10 promo code on NewEgg)

The 970 chipset is good, but to get the most out of your FX 8350 and ensure good power and cooling, you want to go with a 990FX board.

Of these, I have used the ASRock 990FX Extreme3...

Of these, I have used the ASRock 990FX Extreme3 and GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 in multiple builds and can personally verify their quality. The ASRock 990FX Extreme4 also has great VRU cooling and I would suggest that as well.

Basic use, not too worried about the budget as a couple of pay days will make up the difference. just wanting to get an idea really.
