want to upgrade geforce 550 ti

i want to be able to play star wars the old republic with no lag and i am plannning on playing final fantasy 14 i am running i5 2500 overclocked to 4.3 ghz with a hyper t4 cooler on it 8 g of g skill ram and the geforce 550 ti what would you guy suggest so that i dont have any lag?

i have a 600 w power supply i would like to keep it under 300 my friend said to try and run to 550 ti not sure if that well help or not

Don't SLI.
If your budget is 300, you can do much better than a 2x 550 TI's

i am trying not to spend more the n $700 on the computer i paid 400 for it as is at the pawn store so if getting a better card mean i need a new power supply that well eat up some of teh money

If I may, what is the brand of your power supply?

I would recommend a Radeon HD7950 or 7970.

If its not a terrible brand, you should be fine with a new card.
