Possible Memory/Mobo Problems

Hey everyone, first post here. I have a question on my new build of which is taking years off of my life.

Recently, I saved up enough to embark on my first build (Being 15, this is a pretty big project to me.) Anyways, I have everything plugged in for an in-case test boot, and upon doing this, I got a few error codes on my mobo (Running a Z77A-GD65 Gaming) And judging from the code 15, 18, and 55, I'm sure it's a memory problem due to the fact that the CPU is heating up and all. If it does help, I've had the RAM around for a little while from a failed upgrade. Any pointers? And sorry for any miscommunications, typing on a phone is still foreign to me.

Thanks guys.

P.S. I'm not getting anything on-screen, and I know my 780 is working, to my knowledge.

Try with a single stick in slot 1, if you get to BIOS, make sure it's the latest, then try a second stick in slot three - are these sticks from a single set or just odd balls - that can be a problem, never a good idea to mix sticks. If they are mixed, post up the model #s and we might get them to play
Well to eliminate the graphics card as an issue, take it out and plug your monitor into the onboard DVI port (or VGA, it doesn't really matter). If you still get nothing, try booting with only one DIMM plugged in at a time, and make sure to try all the slots.
