When I first started playing this game, there was no issue (video, sound, etc..). Good sound, and video with no noticeable lag whatsoever. After playing the game several times, I start up again and when I click "continue" to go back into gameplay (no issues on startup or at the menu), the loud and annoying sound comes on my speakers. I can play the game with no problem, if not for the sound. I have had no such issues with any other game. I'm beginning to think some update was pushed for this game via Steam and has caused this to happen. I've read online of minor sound issues with SR3, though nothing this severe. Any ideas as to what this could be? I do not have a sound card, but I don't think this game requires it anyway.

More info: I am using a ThermalTake Gaming keyboard and I typically have the speakers connected to it. This causes no issues in any other games or ANYTHING else except SR3 (??). When I tried instead to connect the speakers directly to the computer and then set the default audio device to my onboard audio driver (disabling the audio from my keyboard) in the Control Panel> Sounds I get nothing. No errors, just no sound. Connected back to my keyboard, enabled the keyboard sound, ...sound works again. SR3 audio does not. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
