Corsair HX 850W Buzzing Noise?

I just built this computer last Thursday (September 12) and I noticed a few days ago that when I started Rome 2: Total War, that a really annoying buzzing sound comes fro my computer. I thought it was GPU coil whine at first, but upon further inspection the noise seems to be coming from the back of my Corsair HX850W PSU. It changes pitches depending on what is happening in the game, loud at main menu and during startup.

Could this be a possible hazard to my other components? Should I RMA, or is there some type of fix for this? I have only noticed it during that one game I play.

This is common with Corsair power supplies as it happened to me twice. The reason behind this is that when more power is drawn, when playing games, it will start to whine. For me, it was because my system was drawing very close to the power supply's max wattage in games. I just went ahead and bought a different brand, and it works with no whine. Hope this helps.

For me, it was because my system was drawing very close to the power supply's max wattage in games. I just went ahead and bought a different brand, and it works with no whine. Hope this helps.

No Solution, sadly. But i bought the same product, and have the same issues.
But it is louder then the Fans, on a very nerving way. Because the sound is feeping on an high pitch.
I will return this product as soon i can, nothing more to say.
