Hello all, I'm somewhat new to the whole PC gaming crowd and was curious on which cpu would be best suited for me. I'm strictly just looking at mid range MMO games like Tera, Warframe, Swtor, and guild wars 2 that I could play on mid-high to high settings. No editing, no encoding (whatever that is), no battlefield or crysis here. I'm also paring it with a HD 7770 which seemed like a good fit with all the tons of info on this site I've been digging through. All the rest of the components have been (hopefully) taken care of.

the 6300 is the best of those cpu's overall. for specifically MMO's the i3 may be better as most mmo's i believe dont take advantage of more than 2 cores, and the i3 is faster per-core than the amd chips. A budget i5 would be best, but also more expensive.....

FX 6300 would be best, get a good MB and try your hand at overclocking when you get ready. The FX 6300 overclocks like a champ!!
