Dell Demension e510 CPU Upgrade

Hi I have the Dell Dimension e510 with 4 GB Ram running windows 7 ultimate with an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.2 Ghz processor and I upgraded the processor to a Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5800 3.2Ghz 2M 800Mhz Desktop CPU SLGTG and then on boot it has no display, I put back the old processor and it shows the bios boot again fine. Any ideas what's wrong? I called Dell and they told me I should be able to upgrade to this processor but maybe it's going from 32 bit to 64 bit is the problem?

Did you find any documentation that says you can upgrade to an E5800? This thread seems to indicate you can not:

Odd on this page the E520 is listed, but the E510 is not listed

The E510 is there, just paired with the Dimension 5150.

The service manual only mentions Pentium 4 5xxx and 6xxx series.
