Is there an adaptor to connect standard PC power switch to ASUS P5N-D motherboard pins?

I'm attempting my first self build on a budget, using donated parts (hence old P5N-D mobo) and salvaged parts (hence standard PC power switch) So, the P5N-D has a somewhat complex power switch port that doesn't accommodate the standard PC power switch plug, even with the long white overblock I have with pins labeled. I'm not an electrical engineer, so am reticent to start experimenting with shorting pins, in case of damage!
Is there either a case to take the P5N-D, with an appropriate power switch plug, or an adaptor to join standard PC plug to mobo port, or a forum I can visit to guide me through shorting?
Thanks
Phil :)

Is this the board? It has standard ATX power connectors?

Hi Novuake,
Hope I'm replying in the right place! It' not obvious.
So, it's not the PSU connection I'm posting about, but the connection for the actual switch on button on the front panel. Oh, btw, it is the correct board and the pins I'm concerned with are not labeled on your picture but are actually to the right of the SATA connectors, in the top right corner.

Novuake,
The pins on the board are only labeled 'panel', however, I have a white block that fits over them exactly and just extends the exact same pin configuration upwards, and that is labeled. There are twelve pins in total, they are; on the side nearest SATA connectors, from the top of board (as in your picture) Speaker, Ground, Ground, +5V, PLED-, PLED+ and on the other side from top Ground, Reset, Ground, PWR, IDE LED-, IDE LED+
ps my intuition tells me that the spkr 2xgrnd & +5v are for the case speaker, the pleds are for the power on LED, I think the PWR & Ground are to switch the board on, the reset & Ground are for a reset button (but there's not one on the PC I've salvaged the panel button from) and I'm plain lost on the IDE LED's :)

Sorry Novuake, was updating my last thread when you replied.
As you can see from that, I don't have a reset button on the salvaged panel. Also, there's no Reset+ or -, just Reset & Ground joined by a black [, as are four other combinations (not the Grounds on the spkr section)
