I have been throwing around the possibility of replacing my 2x GTX460 SLI setup with a new card. As of now my budget allows for me to get a 760 or possibly a 770. So far I have pretty much decided on the 760; however, I have a few questions:

My gaming habits dwell within the limits of MMO style games with the occasional RPG thrown in such as Skyrim. (Currently no mods) As far as Future Proofing With this gaming style how do you think the 760 will scale with future releases (Theoretically)?

Given my System specs in the signature, should I go with the 2 GB version or the 4 GB version? Would the 4 GB version be overkill for my current gaming choices, or would it scale better?

Lastly, I use my Computer for Gaming and Homework. I watch the occasional YouTube video and maybe a movie now and then but I’m asking this strictly from a gaming perspective so no other factors of productivity need be considered.

As always thanks for your help and I look forward to your insight.

4GB will benefit you right now only if you play in multiple monitors. A 760 can handle pretty well every modern game and its futureproof for the next few years. Don't expect though the perfomance of a 770 or a 7970

I play on a single 42inch 1080p Display. I plan on buying sometime around cyber Monday. I may also add a second Card for SLI in the future. But that also depends on how much the prices drop by the time I start to notice the need for another card. If I decided to go with a 770 would that give me a huge edge over the 760 for what I play?

Thanks for your reply Tonyzet, But could you elaborate on what I might expect regarding performance improvements by going with the 770 over the 760. Also I guess I will go with the 2GB version over the 4GB as I only use a single monitor.
