My computer connects to all other networks for internet except the one I want.

I go to Dordt College, and my laptop will connect to "Dordt Guest" and other networks like in other places, but it just won't connect to "Dordt" which is the main internet that all students connect to. I think there is a setting problem. How do I solve this?

Note** I have Windows 8 so keep that in mind.

I would suspect that your PC is just being refused a connection, talk to your network admin, as you may need your details added to the wireless whitelist, unless of course they have already done this or given your the correct wireless encryption key.
