ASRock Z87 extreme4 bios 2.3, should I update?

Does anyone have this motherboard and have you updated to bios 2.3? Is it safe to update without fear of the entire bios causing my system to crash? I am currently running the 1.3 bios as I just put together my computer, but have seen a lot of talk about not updating your bios unless you have to, so I am hesitant now of updating o_O

I just updated to 2.3 using instant flash. It was super fast and super easy. Before it instant flashes it creates a crashless state. Also with the legacy bios I think there is a recovery point if something does go wrong. Just remember before your flash to restore the bios defaults, delete all overclocks and save and restart.
