Hey, I am in the process of building my first computer and would like a little help. Im planning on running new and old games, recording game play/audio with it, and also overclocking and crossfiring the GPUs. So this is what I have so far:

Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper

CPU: Intel Cor i5-4670.k

Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65

Ram: Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba 16GB (2x8GB)

GPU: XFX Radeon HP 7970 Black Edition

HDD: WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive

SDD: Kingston Hyper X 3k 240GB Hard Drive

Drive: LG WH14NSO 14x Blue-Ray Burner

My questions are can anyone help me with cooling, how much power Ill need, if anything wont work together, and also if I should go with windows 7 or 8?

Thanks,
Balakay

First, would change the mobo, won't touch MSI for builds, poor QC and support, might look to the Asus Z86 Pro or Plus, Asus seems to have the best handle on the Z87 chipset...will want a good CPU cooler - up to about 4.4 the Hyper 212 EVO can't be beat and a steal at $35, next step up would prob be to a Phantek, if not thinking Crossfire for PSU might look to a Seasonic 500-550 or so
