Newest generation games (BF 4, GTA V if it will be released) will maintain 6 cores, so FX 8core cpu will start to do it's job. Looking future proof I recommend to go with FX- 8320 (8350 isn't worth its price).
I5 is better for this gen games (BF3), because they maintain only 4 cores.
