Hi I went and bought myself a SSD today, 2.5'. Kingston 120gb.
I can obviously see that it wont fit in my computer, its way too small to fit in the brackets i have now. I didnt get anything to go with the SSD no screws or anything. So i bought a brackety thing http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/hardvara/162229-deltaco_... <- looks like that. And it still wont fit, still too small. Am i doing something wrong or do i need something else to make it fit? I borrowed my bfs plastic bracket thing. And the iron brackets seem to want to fir in that one but the plastic one is a tad bit too big so it gets bent when i try to put it in the pc.. The plastic bracket is from another chassi tho. Any suggestions? Hope you understand what i mean. Im bad at explaining..

well...is it not necessary to put your ssd in 3 1/2 bay or other bay... you can just put a stickon at the back and stick it somewhere is safe

Mosty modern cases (produced in last 2-3 years) have alternate mounting points for SSDs .... or they have different methods to allow mounting in those 3.5" bays. For example Corsair 500R has holes in the bottom of the 3.5" tray into which you can install the 2.5" SSD mounting screws

Ya not supposed to take the empty trays outta ya puter :)

Other cases (i.e Antec DF-85) just have mounting location on floor or wall of case and use mounting screws / grommets

http://store.antec.com/Product/accessory-spare_parts/ss...

See 4 holes to right of PSU below:

And on the Phanteks Enthoo, in upper feft of image blow are twin SSD mounting brackets attatched w/ 4 screws each to the 5.25" mounting bays

Can sum1 back home (ole place) mail ya one ? Otherwise have to buy one from PC Case manufacturer ....
