Any Worth While Upgrades?

AMD Phenom II X4 970 with H70

GA-990XA-UD3

8gb DDR3 1600

120gb SSD
2Tb HDD

TX850w PSU

HD 7970

With a 2560x1440 monitor

Looking for a upgrade for gaming and internet browsing

Not much to improve on unless you feel the CPU is under-performing. Not going to notice a huge difference with a FX8xxx chip to be honest. Adding a second 7970? More monitors?

Eximo :

2 more 1440p's would require a monster GPU setup for gaming, i was thinking of going xfire, would 2 7970's be better than a 7990?

That is essentially what a 7990 is. You should be able to reach higher overclocks with the 7970s, though you really shouldn't need to.
