Like the tittle says, I've installed win 8 on my laptop after I bought it (Asus G750JH)
The laptop didn't have a SSD included so I bought a Samsung EVO 840 250Gb SSD and installed the OS, the problem is that I have only the SSD and some 15Gb listed as my storage?
What the hell happened?
Any way of fixing this without reinstalling the OS?

Thanx :)

Open disk manager, and take a look at the partitions. You should have quite a bit more storage. The first thing to check, is there may have been a smaller partition or partitions created on the drive...

This article shows how to resize partitions in Windows 8: http://www.disk-partition.com/windows-8/windows-8-disk-...

I solved it by reinstalling the OS.
Here is what I (the idiot) did.
I went to the D partition which I was unable to format to NTFS (it was in FAT32), selected all (Ctrl+A) and deleted everything because I found somewhere that it wouldn't format it because it was somehow active even thou there were no System files in it, just FreeDos (I know, it's kind of some OS?) and I deleted everything there.
I know it was retarded, I thought no sys files no problem, right? (don't say anything, it was 4 AM at the time I did it)
I was very wrong, the next time I tried to format the HDD, it said NO!
So I made a bootable USB flash stick (just in case) and backed up the drivers for everything to my external HDD (also just in case), and well I restarted my computer thinking it might need a reboot.
And guess what, I was very much wrong, it wouldn't boot, because the boot files were missing (they were obviously the files I deleted)
Luckily, I wasn't a complete idiot, I used the USB flash stick to install the OS again and guess what, I found the options to format my D drive through it (I guess it would've been the same thing even if I had formated it there it surely wouldn't want to boot again).
Later on I installed the drivers, and everything was almost fine.

The "almost fine" part, now what I have is two partitions, one partition of 918 GB and second one has 13,5 Unallocated (I think I might have accidentally deleted one, or on purpose, I don't remember very well -.-")
Now, how can I join (merge them), I don't mind if they stay like this, but it would be great if they were one once again :)

I've written everything down what I did, so that someone doesn't do the same stupid thing xD

Disk manager will allow you to enlarge the partition to the unallocated free space.
