Can I use my 1100T cpu on an ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX motherboard?

No AM3 and the AM3+ have different spacing on the pin outs, so the AM3 will not fit. You would need an AM3+ cpu, sorry no other choice

You are totally wrong.

I have a crosshair v tormula-z mainboard that is running with my 1090t cpu without any problems.
This CPU was used on a M3A79T-Deluxe AM2+ Mainboard before.

Thanks AMD we have a very smooth upgrade path and much oc potential.
