Going to be doing some streaming/competitive gaming/homework on this thing. First computer I've had in over 3 years so I want to make sure it's right.
If you have any comments at all about the build let me know!
I'm especially worried about compatibility so please help me out. Thank you in advance!

-Do you really need an i7? (i5 does the same for gaming-wise for 100$less)
-Are you going to OC so badly you need such a good cooler?
-Do you have Sound equipment that can ntake advantage of that sound card?

Everything else seems fine.

There's been a lot of debate about the i5 & i7 being about the same for gaming.. I plan on getting dual-monitors, though. Won't the i7 last longer, too? Not sure what to do here!
I was pretty confused on the cooler as well so I just picked a highly rated one. Is it overkill? I'm pretty paranoid about overheating.
Yeah the card supports 7.1 surround sound as well as my headphones for gaming. I also like to rock out 8-)

I'd go with a Samsung 840 EVO 128GB SSD, cheaper and faster.

Get some RAM with no heat spreader so your huge CPU cooler will fit.

You will probably game better if you get an ASUS HERO motherboard. Those things overclock like crazy. In fact, if you get a 4670K you can get that motherboard. For real competitive gaming you'll need a 144FPS monitor and two GTX 770's in SLI.
