Newest NVIDIA Drivers 327.23 (NVIDIA GTX 660M) Cause Horrid Brightness Adjustments

Automatic brightness was turned on with my most recent NVIDIA driver update just a few minutes ago. Except, it seems to be inverted. A completely black webpage will ramp the brightness DOWN resulting in a darker screen. A completely blank/white webpage will ramp the brightness up, resulting in a washed-out screen.

I've dug through the NVIDIA control panel and even the "GeForce Experience" screens and found nothing to disable this. The best I can get is to completely turn down both my screen brightness through the laptop keyboard, turn down the brightness within NVIDIA's control panel, and then turn off the "Digital Vibrance" enhancement. I can still notice the screen trying to adjust a tad when I switch back and forth between the extremes at this point.... But I'm also working on a dark, black-and-white screen at that point.

Is there ANY way to disable this, or do I have to try and roll back my drivers?

EDIT: I should also note that this is entirely hardware-oriented, as taking screenshots between the two extremes shows the same brightness level in Photoshop using Print Screen.

Also, this is on a laptop so there's no simple "disable auto-brightness on your monitor" fix.
