Samsung 840 pro 256gb vs. samsung 840 EVO 250gb

Hi everybody,
I found some articles about these SSDs. But I'm not sure which one to choose. I'm student and work as developer (Visual Studio 2012 - .Net) on my own notebook. I was convinced, that I'll buy PRO 256gb, but now is new era of samsung SSD - EVO. It's cheaper than PRO. Because I'm a student I don't have a lot of money. So I want to ask you, what would you recommend to me? Pro or EVO? Is it big difference between them? Do I see any performence differences as a developer?

Thanks people.

  1. Get the EVO. You will not notice any performance difference.

What exactly will you be doing in Visual Studio? normally i'd recommend the EVO, but if you're going to be writing alot using that program, then the Pro is what you should get since its made to take heavy workloads.

I use Visual Studio for my school projects, but sometimes I work for company using my own notebook, but the projects are not so big.
