I have one WD800BB IDE hard drive plus two WD5000AADS STAT hard drive.
I want to install my system in the IDE hard drive and use the other two STAT hard drives as storage media.
How should I set the jumper setting of the IDE hard drive, master, slave, cable select or single?
Is there any need to set the jumper setting of the STAT hard drive?
Thank you very much :)

By "STAT", you actually mean SATA, right? Those have no jumpers to set.

As for the 80GB IDE...I'd advise against using that for the system drive. It is old, slow, and likely noisier. And being 'old', far more likely to fail much sooner than the others.

I'd just use the two 500GB SATA drives. One for OS and applications, the other for storage of 'stuff'.
Adding the 80GB drive only gets you an additional 8% in overall drive space.

But if you're going to use it, I think 'cable select' would be the right jumper setting.
