Bios of course is out. so software. AI suite and TurboV dont seem to install or work (latest version off asus web), so any other software based OC utilities that may work with my setup?

ASUS N550JA
i7-4700HQ @ 2.4
16g ram
and i cant pause in POST to get my BIOS ID to know what kind of mobo i have so.

Any and all comments and feedback are more than welcome. anyone who answers this(successfully, i dont want to hear i cant do it lol) i will send 40$ cash to. Thats no joke either. Im a man and thats my word. I don't break it.

Then let me ask you this: what makes you think this would be possible? Laptop makers do everything they can to prevent overclocking, especially since there's no room for a better cpu cooler to handle the extra heat.

P.S. I think the overkill emphasis in your subject line risks a ban.

You trying to troll??

Tell ya plain, you can't. Not for that CPU: i7 4700HQ. The ones however which are enabled Overclocking (even so you need somebody extremely experienced to help you get it stable) are the MX/XM designated ones like the i7 4930MX, 3940XM, 3920XM...etc.

Not really considered an overclock. They have adjustable clockrates with stock parameters.

ive overclocked for 10 years. please dont insult my intelligence because im sure i hold a job that requires alot more computer knowledge than you think. laptops CAN be overclocked. not hardware based but software. why is this specific processor unOCable? Answer that. You dont need an EE to OC do you?

because it has to be done....please i know the risks im well versed in IS/IT i just need software options that work without me knowing what kind of mobo i have

so you proclaim to know so much, but can't find some software? there's a magic piece of software called google I think that allows you to find things, try using it perhaps? These processors have been out for what 2 months? give 6 and someone may have figured it out.
