Hello around a week ago I bought ASUS VG248QE monitor for it's 144hz and 1ms response time.
My graphics card is ASUS HD7970 DirectCu II. On it's back It's got i think 2 DVI-I ports like on this picture: link

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and have the latest catalyst drivers for the moment - 13.9. I have tried everything and I can't above 60Hz, there was a dual-link DVI cable included in the box and I tried it on both ports restarted and still nothing. I have installed the driver profile from the included disk but still nothing, please help guys.

I read some posts here on this forum but I didn't find a solution.

Someone on another site mentioned they had to press a little switch on their 7970 card to disable one of the ports and make one of the DVI's into Dual-Link mode.

Hope that helps. Edit: Whoops, realized I just revived a month dead post.
