I have two old laptop's one is broken and the other is still working. The laptop who works fine is the dell D620 and the broken one is the dell D820. Could I take the processor from the dell D820 and put it on the dell D620?

The dell D620 has a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5500 (2M Cache, 1.66 GHz, 667 MHz FSB)

Presumably the reason you want to swap is for better performance.

I think they use sockets that are compatible.

But, do not expect any worthwhile performance improvement.

It is the energy efficient hard drives of laptops that inhibit performance
Replace it with a SSD and you will be amazed at the difference.
