ok so i have the i-5 2500k overclocked to 4.4 at 1.2 vcore with a hyper t-4 cooler on it i have one fan in the front of my cool master mid tower that sucks in air and one on the back that pulls it out the fan for the cooler push at the back fan. so i run HW Monitor it says that the overall core heat is maxing at 71c and ideal at 42c that seems hot should i add more fans or should i change to a water cooler?

Solution
seems warm. ideally your idle cpu temps should be around ambient + 15C. still its within normal operating ranges. If you're really worried, you could try replacing the TIM and reseating the heatsink before considering replacing the cooler. also consider adding more intake fans
