Hi folks, I've been looking at some of the threads on here as I'm looking at building my first gaming rig (well get someone else to build it...haha). I was originally going to buy a used gaming rig for £600 that was two months old with receipts and the user would have been happy to report issues to the manufacturer but alas parent's are convinced new is always better and wanted a prebuilt one, starting to convince them that new PARTS and getting it built myself may be better. I found this rig on a thread from a few weeks previous, could someone please comment?

It'l be used for gaming and some graphic design. Most of the games I'll be playing include Battlefield 4 when it arrives, GTA V when it arrives, haha, Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Fallout series, general mix of FPS and RPG really. Would this system be capable of running the higher end games? I know Fallout etc won't be an issue. I'll add some more info later, any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers bud, only thing I'm thinking of adding is a 64gb SSD for housing windows and a few games/applications. Any thoughts on the performance for current gen games?

So with a 120gb SSD probably looking at near £800..I reckon that'l keep me going until Skylake arrives. I'm not entirely clued up on gaming specs etc, but if this can run battlefield 4 above medium settings that should do.
