It wasn't charged to 100% while it was charging the laptop when it was off? Hi again, No, it wasn't 100% charged when the laptop was off. It just charged up to 45%, but I let the adapter on the whole night. I did what you suggested - no improvement. Still doesn't charge more than 45% ... Upvote 0 Downvote

popatim Titan Moderator Dec 2, 2009 38,904 980 135,890 Sep 22, 2013 #4 On some gateways there is an option in the bios, usually in power or advanced section, to recalibrate the battery but to be honest, this is usually caused by cheap crappy replacement batteries.
