Hi, so I'm a collage student and for hobbies, I either make AMVs out of old movies in Sony Vegas 11, or write novels. The only games I play are Dayz, League of Legends, Garry's Mod, and WoW.

My largest concern, is will this run Sony Vegas and let me watch previews smoothly (doesn't have to be highest qaulity, just enough that I can see the effects taking place). Will this run those games smoothly at least on low settings?

Thanks.

here is a build that probably would be a little better in every aspect for you; particularly since you favor some seriously single threaded games like Gary's mod and WoW; i have that 7770, and it will handle most games on high or ultra at 1080p, overall i think this build is my new favorite <$400 budget build.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Pentium G3220 3.0GHz Dual-Core Processor ($69.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H81M-DGS Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($55.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM...
well... you don't really give us a lot of info. what type of monitor do you have?

generally any modern cpu can do what you're asking to some extent. the apu will definately have the power to do it at 720p... but 1080p? you'll probably be hurting a bit with an apu. That said i wouldn't put a 100W A10 APU into a A55 chipset motherboard. Seems like a recipe for disaster.
