A virus reset password, and it would not allow me to run my backup disk.
So I unplugged my hard drive and was able to boot my disk drive instead. after my windows 7 ultimate booted I plugged back in my hard drive and started "startup Repair" and have waited for three hours. I have come to the conclusion that my computer is f*cked, and was curious if I buy a new hard drive will I be able to reinstall my windows 7 ultimate on the other hard drive. A note that is needed is this windows 7 is oem. Also I was curious if changing the hard drive will even help?
If there are any other options before I decide to buy a new hard drive that could potentially help, it would be much appreciated.

WAIT !! you plugged in your hdd while the system was on and booted up with W7 DVD, bad move, you may have just blown the drive and who knows, even the hdd controller.

Yes a get a new drive and just install as normal and pray nothing has gone bad !

I feel so stupid, so I left for a bit to get my mind off it, and today I turned it back on, and the screen just has red black and white lines. So will I have figured that its totally blown, is there anything I can salvage from this wreck?
