First - Just to clarify, I'm not looking for sites like Newegg where I can buy computer hardware. I'm looking for computer Components.
Specifically, I am looking for a Mini USB Connector to build a customized cable. I need to be in control of the whole process, so just breaking a pre-built cable down won't really cut it. Even if it turns out to have the pins I need, it would be too difficult to de-salder it well enough.
I will be using a ribbon cable, similar to the one below, for the chord itself.
