Hello, i recently asked this question, but i had a change of mind when i saw some new headsets on the market, i am currently looking for an upgrade from my turtle beach x11's which have lasted me since the old modern warfare 2 days, but there getting old now and they arent as good as they used to be, so i have been looking a few headets but down to my lack of good choices, i will need some help. I have set my eyes on the beautiful Logitech G430's, i have a few things i want in a gaming headset, 1: I dont mind if they are 2.1, 5.1 or 7.1 i dont have as sensitive ears as other people 2: As i am a very tall person, it also comes with the disadvantage of a big head..so they need to be quite big 3: They HAVE to be comfortable..i game for long streches and i hate it when my ears start to sweat and my head hurts and i cant concentrate on the game 'cause all i can think about is the distress i get from my current turtle beaches, i prefer micro fiber over fake or real leather 4: They have to be in a good price range, my budget at the moment ranges from £40 to £70/80 5: They must have surround sound, as a mid to hardcore gamer, i find surround sound a key part of getting the first strike. If you could give me some advice on a good headset for my needs, i will be highly grateful, thank you :3

haha, thank you..both of you, i am going to be using this headset for PC use, i am using my turtlebeaches for XBOX and PC use at the moment, but as im selling my XBOX, i see no point in getting a headset that is both compatible with both devices, JackNaylorPE, i have been looking into the G930's but im not a big fan of wireless, and as you said, they are quite pricey

i hvae a friend with the g230 which are pretty much the same as the g430 but without surround sound they are really comfortable and lightweight so are VERY comfortable to wear however they have swivel earcups which could easily break.

g430s do have a great price and as long as your careful with them they should be great they also have a braided cable which should help stop the wire from getting tangled and breaking i reckon your pretty much settle then on the g430s?
