I want to buy a 4GB SODIMM for a vacant memory slot in my T510. I'm uncertain whether to buy DDR3-1333, PC8500, PC10600, DDR3-1066, or what. (Various web sites claim all are compatible with my T510.) Do I also need to worry about something called CAS latency when buying memory?

Thanks. The Lenovo link includes 1333MHz memory, while the Lenovo spec sheet for the computer includes "integrated DDR3 memory controller (up to 1066MHz)." Does this mean that memory clock speed doesn't matter? And the Lenovo site says nothing about CAS latency requirements.

Are there particular brands of memory that are known to work better than others, or any that I should avoid?

it is a 10600 that run at 13333 if you chose not to buy from them use the memory maker finding tool for your model to get a compatible one for the system ,this is the one i found from corsair with you system model and number http://www.corsair.com/en/learn_n_explore/ lead to this one Corsair Memory — 4GB DDR3 SODIMM Memory (CM3X4GSD1066) and the other Corsair Memory — 2GB DDR3 SODIMM Memory (CM3X2GSD1066)
