CPU: fx-6300 stock cooler

Gpu: 7790hd radeon

motherboard :ASUS M5A78L-M/U3 Motherboard

core temp = 58 celcius ( measured using core temp w/ prime 95 test on)
cpu temp = 67 c (measured using asus pc probe with prime 95 test on)
motherboard temp =44 c
cpu 4000 rpm
ambient temp= 25-30 c

is it a matter of concern?

amd claims 70C is the point their fx chips thermally throttle... but as anyone who has one can attest it won't make it to 70C before it crashes from excessive heat. it's the same as the old phII cpus. they thermally throttled at 90C, but no one who has one ever got to 90C, they would crash at around 55C-62C. the fx cpus can run a little hotter, 60C-68C but generally they will crash well before hitting...
Under Prime95 with the stock cooler that is to be expected. It is on the higher end, but nothing to worry about. You dont want to go over 80C. I would invest in an aftermarket cooler such as the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO. The stock coolers are simply put, bad.

As long as i dont overclock , stock cooler would do?????

Would playing latest games, make the cpu/core temps any higher than this?

The stock cooler is fine as long as you dont OC yes, It can get loud, and can be distracting as well as higher than you want. I would still recommend getting the aftermarket but it will do for now. Not much, if anything, will put your temps higher than Prime95.

except for the fact that 67C (if that's an accurate temp) is about at the point FX cpus start to fail due to excessive heat (it's probably a little beyond that point)

Most of the sources I checked said < 70ºC ....but more importantly.... the computer was not built to run Prime95. Doing normal everyday tasks , you will never see those temps.

When I do a build, I cycle P95 to set / cure my thermal paste (usually get a 1-3C drop from initial run) .... the computer never sees those temps again.

and you're right. my pc never comes close to the temps it gets on a prime95 run. that's one of the points of prime95... to make sure your cpu is cooled well enough for your overclock or cooler.
