Heya,
It's my birthday and I'm wondering if the gtx 660 ti gpu is enough for next-gen games on a minimum of 600p, and bf4 on 768p.
I want a minimum of 60 fps on any settings possible.
My cpu is an i3 3225.

Thanks :D

baby. you have your expectation very low. with a 660ti you should expect reasonable framerates at 1080p on most games. I have had no problems playing Crysis, CS:GO, ArmA 3, CoD, BF3, DotA 2 on 1080p 60fps or better.

However your cpu is gonna be your eventual bottleneck for BF4 because if can use up to 4 cores but you shouldn't have too much of a problem with 2 cores.

Actually at 800x600 you will not even utilize that GPU at all and the CPU will probably do most of the work.

You should have at least 1600x900 for that card better yet 1920x1080 to truly utilize it the way it was meant to be.

As for BF4, hard to say as I haven't kept up with the game engine at all but since its their next game engine I would assume it will be a bit more taxing on that GPU and CPU.

well, im going to upgrade to amd or an i5 in december :D thanks :D

How are you running at 800x600?
What is the normal (native) resolution of the display?
The current system is easily enough to play at 1080 res, although a few games like BF3, FC3, Crysis3 will give a little trouble because they need a quad cored CPU for maximum performance, but even they will be playable at 1080 res-with a little careful tweaking.

My monitor's native resolution is 768p but I want max performance so I don't care about visuals.
