Hey,

I want to do some upgrades to my PC and decided to start with the RAM and Graphic Card with a budget of 230-250 Eur ( for both parts )

After some research and asking some friends about some Graphic Cards I decided to look at:

--> Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC, 2048MB, GDDR5, 256bit, HDMI, PCI-E, DVI
--> MSI AMD Radeon HD 7850, 2048MB, GDDR5, 256bit, HDMI, DVI-I, PCI-E

and for RAM

--> Kingston 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM (Kit of 2) XMP

also looking for a new Motherboard to fit the ram preferable under 70 Eur since how @animal said I can't fit the RAM in the actual Motherboard

My current PC spec :

CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
Yorkfield 45nm Technology
RAM
4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 332MHz (5-5-5-15)
Motherboard
ASRock G31M-S. (CPUSocket)
Graphics
23EN43 (1920x1080@60Hz)
1024MB ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner)
Hard Drives
233GB Western Digital WDC WD2500AAJS-00VTA0 ATA Device (SATA)
233GB Seagate ST3250820AS ATA Device (SATA)
233GB Western Digital WDC WD2500AAJS-00VTA0 ATA Device (SATA)

As a power supply I have an Inter-Tech SL-500A, 500W

So my question is, can I run the ram and the Graphic Card with the other parts without problems ?

@badboyrog - The PC is for gaming mostly..
@animal - Yeah guess I will have to get a new motherboard too..

Thanks and sorry for the bad English :<

The memory you have chose will not work. Your "new" memory is DDR3 but your motherboard will only work with DDR2. They are not compatible with each other (won't physically fit)

new motherboard will probably require a new cpu to go with it, so I doubt 60-70 Euros will cover it. Additionally, you would need a new OS.
