I'm looking for ways to improve performance without investing in a new motherboard/cpu combo. I'm currently running a build with an Intel 2500k i5 Sandybridge CPU, HIS IceQ X AMD Radeon HD 6850 graphics card, 4GB (2X2GB) G.Skill Ripjaw 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800), and ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. Power supply is Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

what are you looking to get better performance from? ( software ).

gaming? overclocking the cpu.... maybe. not really needed most of the time.

the graphics card, yes............if you game at 1600 resolution or above.

an SSD would make everything you do much snappier.... opening and closing programs and apps.

ram............. depends on the apps you run.

what monitor size are you running? bigger monitors are awesome.
