Yes, you have to change your boot priority settings in your BIOS to boot from cd/dvd first.

Check under advanced settings or boot settings, since it varies from BIOS to BIOS you'll have to find out where to change it.

Some BIOS have a boot menu which you can use by pressing F11 or F8 while POST is being displayed.
