I recently purchased a Zoostorm PC with GA-H61M-DS2-DVI motherboard which says it is PCI Express 3.0 compliant.

I have now purchased a Asus HD7700 graphics card and fitted an Antec 450W PSU.

As soon as i add power to the Asus card i get the little green light (red without power), and the PC will no longer boot up.

I get nothing from the DVI or HDMI ports on the card or from the inbuilt VGA port when the card is powered.

Something is happening as my Monitor recognizes that there is a powered HDMI cable connected from the PC as the source select icon changes but continually says no signal.

Im now at a loss - any suggestions appreciated.

Dean.

Solution
1: Remove the graphics card and restart and load into the BIOS by tapping delete

2: scroll over to BIOS features

3: Scroll to the very bottom of the page do the following:

1. Disable secure boot

2. Scroll up and set CSM to always

3. Change the OS type to Windows 8 not Windows 8 WHQL

4: Press F10 to save settings and exit, when it restarts shutdown the PC

5: Fit your graphics card, and then restart the PC.
